SENIOR STYLIST (Level 4)
Meet Sandy
Sandy began his career in 2015 and quickly built a reputation for his expertise in balayage, color correction, and creative color. Passionate about continued education, he trained extensively in Washington, D.C., and showcased his artistry in competitions such as Hair Wars and Mardi Gras Hair Fashion.
Within three years of graduating, Sandy opened his dream salon in Old Town Alexandria — Color Room Salon — where he became known for delivering elevated color services and exceptional guest experiences.
In March 2026, Sandy returned to his hometown of Roanoke, Virginia, but continues to travel back to the salon four days each month to serve his loyal guests.
Sandy’s commitment to artistry, growth, and personalized service remains at the heart of everything he does.
THOMAS SHELTON
SENIOR STYLIST (Owner) Level 6
Thomas Shelton is a highly respected hairstylist and master colorist in Washington, DC, renowned for his trendsetting approach to hair design. With a reputation built on expertise, creativity, and a passion for elevating the industry, Thomas has become one of the most sought-after professionals in the city.
His former salon, Thomas Shelton Hair Design, earned widespread acclaim, including being named Best Hair Salon by DC City Paper in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Individually, Thomas was honored as Best Hair Stylist by DC City Paper for four consecutive years (2011–2014), solidifying his reputation as one of DC’s premier artists behind the chair.
A true authority in hair color, Thomas served as a Goldwell Educator from 2018–2025, earning his Master in Color certification with Goldwell during his tenure. He later expanded his expertise by earning his Master Color Certification with Redken, further reinforcing his advanced technical knowledge and dedication to excellence in color formulation, correction, and customization.

GUADALUPE
Senior Stylist (Level 4)
Guadalupe is a highly respected stylist with over 30 years of experience serving the Dupont Circle community. Originally from Peru, she brings exceptional skill, creativity, and professionalism to every client she serves.
Known as the salon’s “Blowout Queen,” Guadalupe is highly sought after for her flawless finishes and signature styling that leaves hair full of movement, shine, and longevity. Her expertise in precision cuts, highlights, and balayage allows her to effortlessly transform and enhance her clients’ natural beauty.
Guadalupe’s chair is trusted by a loyal following, including many high-profile and professional clients who rely on her consistency, discretion, and elevated results. Becoming a master colorist at the Goldwell Academy in New York City is an impressive achievement, and it shows she’s dedicated to continuing her education and refining her skills.

Dedicated to delivering beautiful results for every client, she’s known for her skill and versatility in the salon

HAIR STYLIST (Level 4)
With 25 years in the hair industry, Roque is a seasoned stylist known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to his craft. Originally from Mexico, Roque speaks Spanish fluently, which allows him to connect with a diverse clientele, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the salon.
Having transferred from Thomas Shelton Hair Design, Roque has spent the last 10 years perfecting his craft in Dupont, where his skills in fades, color, and updos have earned him a loyal following. Roque is known for his precision and artistry—whether he's sculpting a flawless fade, creating vibrant and dimensional color, or designing an elegant updo for a special occasion, every style he creates is a testament to his years of expertise.
His approach blends creativity with technique, ensuring that each client receives a look that feels both modern and timeless. Roque's ability to bring out the best in every client is rooted in his patience and commitment to perfection, taking the time to ensure that every hair is in place and every detail is just right.
Andrea E
HAIR STYLIST (Level 4)
Andrea is a seasoned hairdresser with over 35 years of experience, including 30 years spent as an instructor in top salons across London, Prague, and Paris. Known for her expertise in all things color—whether it's color correction or fantasy hues—Andrea thrives in creating vibrant, personalized looks. She specializes in curly hair of any length, as well as men’s hairdressing, though she’s not a barber; her focus is on cutting and styling rather than shaves.
Having managed renowned salons like Harlow, Subairi, and Salon Rouge, Andrea is particularly skilled at short women’s haircuts, classic styles, and precision bobs. With a love for bold, creative “rock and roll” cuts, she combines technical precision with artistic flair. Andrea's extensive career and passion for the craft continue to inspire those she works with, making her a trusted expert in the field.

HAIR STYLIST (Level 5)
Pascal is a highly experienced hairstylist with over 20 years in the industry. Specializing in both color and cuts, she has honed her craft to deliver tailored, professional results for each client. Originally from France, Pascal is bilingual, fluent in both French and English, and brings a unique international perspective to her work. Recently, she expanded her expertise by attending the prestigious Goldwell Academy in New York, where she completed an advanced Master Colorist class. With a passion for creating beautiful, customized styles, Pascal is dedicated to making each client feel confident and stylish.

Meet Nadia
Nadia specializes in bringing out the best in your hair. She offers precision cuts, silk presses, extensions, treatments to keep your hair healthy and shiny, and styling for all textures. Her chair is where confidence begins—every guest leaves feeling beautiful and empowered. When she’s not behind the chair, Nadia loves spending time with her beautiful family, which includes her nine amazing kids.

Meet Sacelia
A proud Washingtonian native, Sacelia completed her studies at The Salon Professional Academy right here in DC. While in school, she also interned at The Color Lab by TSR under the guidance of Thomas Shelton and Sandy Campbell. Doing hair has been her passion since she was a young girl. Sacelia enjoys all aspects of hairstyling and is skilled in braiding, extensions, and creating looks that make her clients feel confident and beautiful.
