Sandy's journey into the hair industry is truly inspiring, marked by a bold career shift and a passion for learning and growth. Starting in 2015 after completing cosmetology school, Sandy dove headfirst into expanding his skills, particularly in balayage, color correction, and creative color techniques. His dedication to mastering his craft took him to Washington, D.C., where he further honed his abilities through specialized classes.

Competitions like "Hair Wars" and Mardi Gras Hair Fashion showcased Sandy's creative flair and gave him a platform to demonstrate his artistry. These experiences helped him refine his skills and build a reputation in the industry.

Within just three years of graduating, Sandy achieved his dream of opening his own salon in Old Town Alexandria. Today, as the owner of Color LAB Salon by TSR, Sandy continues to uphold his commitment to delivering exceptional hair services and creating memorable guest experiences. His journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and the pursuit of excellence in the beauty industry.

Thomas Shelton is a highly respected hairstylist and master colorist in Washington, DC, renowned for his trendsetting approach to hair design. With a reputation built on expertise, creativity, and a passion for helping other stylists grow, he has become one of the most sought-after professionals in the city. His previous salon, Thomas Shelton Hair Design, received multiple accolades, including being named Best Hair Salon by the DC City Paper in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Known for his artistry in hair color, Thomas is a Goldwell educator, helping other stylists refine their skills and reach their full potential. His impact on the industry has earned him features in several high-profile magazines, and his work has earned him numerous awards, including Best Hair Stylist from DC City Paper for several consecutive years (2011–2014).

Guadalupe is a talented and experienced stylist with over 30 years of expertise working in Dupont Circle. Originally from Peru, she brings a unique blend of creativity and skill to her work, offering a wide range of versatile styles. Guadalupe specializes in precision cuts, highlights, and balayage, making her an expert in transforming and enhancing her clients' hair. She also enjoys creating stunning styles for special occasions, ensuring every client feels their best.

Additionally, Guadalupe is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to connect with a broader range of clients.

Donnell truly is a master of his craft! With a blend of extensive experience in both hairstyling and drag performance, his expertise goes far beyond just creating a new look—he’s about crafting a complete experience. His specialization in precision men's haircuts, bridal styling, and chic women’s short cuts shows that he’s versatile, able to create looks that are timeless, trendy, and tailored to each client’s personal vision.

Originally from El Salvador, Eva is a seasoned stylist with over 12 years of experience at our location. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she offers a wide range of services, specializing in perms and relaxers, as well as expert cuts and color. With 25 years in the hair industry, Roque is a seasoned stylist known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to his craft. Having transferred from Thomas Shelton Hair Design, Roque has spent the last 10 years perfecting his craft in Dupont, where his skills in fades, color, and updos have earned him a loyal following. Andrea is a seasoned hairdresser with over 35 years of experience, including 30 years spent as an instructor in top salons across London, Prague, and Paris. Known for her expertise in all things color—whether it's color correction or fantasy hues—Andrea thrives in creating vibrant, personalized looks. She specializes in curly hair of any length, as well as men’s hairdressing, though she’s not a barber; her focus is on cutting and styling rather than shaves.

Having managed renowned salons like Harlow, Subairi, and Salon Rouge, Andrea is particularly skilled at short women’s haircuts, classic styles, and precision bobs. With a love for bold, creative “rock and roll” cuts, she combines technical precision with artistic flair. Andrea's extensive career and passion for the craft continue to inspire those she works with, making her a trusted expert in the field.

Pascal is a highly experienced hairstylist with over 20 years in the industry. Specializing in both color and cuts, she has honed her craft to deliver tailored, professional results for each client. A proud Washingtonian native, Sacelia completed her studies at The Salon Professional Academy right here in DC. While in school, she also interned at The Color Lab by TSR under the guidance of Thomas Shelton and Sandy Campbell. Doing hair has been her passion since she was a young girl. Sacelia enjoys all aspects of hairstyling and is skilled in braiding, extensions, and creating looks that make her clients feel confident and beautiful.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Izzy completed her studies at The Salon Professional Academy right here in DC. During her training, she interned at The Color Lab by TSR under the mentorship of Thomas Shelton and Sandy Campbell. Izzy is a true perfectionist with an eye for detail and a warm, friendly personality. She loves to chat, connect with people from all walks of life, and make every appointment a fun and enjoyable experience.
